Genesis 28:10-19 & Romans 8:12-25

The inherent uncertainty of this season makes it difficult, if not impossible, to plan too far ahead. We don't know if our August vacation plans will come to fruition. Rather than running out to Staples for 19 cent notebooks and 50 cent crayons, we're coming up with Plans A, B, and C for how we might balance work and children this fall. How do we maintain hope when we're unable plan, let alone anticipate what the coming months might hold? Our current series, based on Johann Hari's book, Lost Connections, concludes this Sunday with a look at the story of Jacob who found faith for the future by looking back to the past.
