Exodus: A Journey to the Promised Land || Provision Comes

Exodus 16:2-31

"The exodus is a powerful symbol that the present situation does not define what is possible for God."

—Terence E. Fretheim

Our journey through the wilderness continues this Sunday with a fine, flaky substance that covers the ground in the morning and quails at night. The substance is known as manna, a powerful reminder of the ways God provides. How does God provide today? Are miracles only big events—or are miracles the things we are prone to take for granted every single day? What might happen if we really did take just enough? Might we be part of a miracle in the making?
