Our series, "Searching for Something," concludes on this Trinity Sunday with "Searching for Salvation." Salvation is a word that can get a bad wrap as we tend to focus on our sin instead of God's mercy. But Barbara Brown Taylor describes how the root word for salvation "is salus, or health, which points back toward the medical paradigm, except that this health plan is truly comprehensive." In scripture, God is always seeking to heal bodies, minds, spirits, communities, and the whole of creation.
