Finding Faith || Finding Faith in Remembering

Sunday, May 24, 2020

Rev. Dr. Donna Claycomb Sokol || Pastor

1 Peter 5:6-11 & John 17:1-11

While Memorial Day didn't become a federal holiday until 1971, individuals started to gather for "Decoration Day" in the years following the Civil War to pay tribute to soldiers who died in the conflict. Today, family traditions still transport many individuals to cemeteries around the world where they decorate graves and remember. How do you make space to remember the people whose lives continue to impact you, even though they are no longer here? What reminds you of the role they played in your life? How do their legacies inform your faith?

Join us for our NEW Sermon Series Finding Faith as we seek to find faith in doubt, disbelief, community, grief, crisis, and other aspects of life.
