Luke 6:27-38

"Love your enemies, do good to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, pray for those who abuse you.”

This is perhaps one of the most radical commandments that Jesus handed down to his followers. Yet, Archbishop Desmond Tutu, through his commitment to forgiveness, to truth and reconciliation, and the deep belief in the goodness of humanity, embodied what it meant to love your enemies through the power of forgiveness.

Join us this Sunday as our series, "Taking God Seriously," continues with "Love Your Enemies" and explore how in our world of ever-growing inequality, divisiveness, and polarization we might seek to embody this commandment to “love your enemy” as a solution to the problems of our world.
