Is now the time to weep or the time to laugh? Is it time to continue to mourn or time to dance? Is it time to finally embrace one another or time to continue to stand apart and smile with our eyes? The writer of Ecclesiastes suggests there is a time for everything. But how do we know what time it is? Can we really embrace the gifts of laughter, dancing, and embracing—in spite of what may or may not be happening around us? What would it look like for us to see the sacred in pleasure and play as we continue to emerge from the pandemic together?
