All Things Sacred || Seeking the Sacred in Life Itself

Sunday, March 13, 2022 || 11:00am

Rev. Dr. Donna Claycomb Sokol || Pastor

Acts 17:22-31

"When we speak of something as sacred, we are offering it ultimate respect. We are honoring it."

—John Philip Newell

What might happen in places near and far—in the United States and Ukraine, in city streets and urban landscapes—if if we always sought to see every human life as sacred, as worthy of honor and our respect?

How might we seek to see the world's pain and loss through God's eyes and never suffer from soul-forgetfulness?

You do not want to miss worship this Sunday when we will mark the two-year anniversary of the start of the COVID-19 pandemic by naming the sacredness of some of what has been lost and praise God for the ways we have been carried and given more resilience than we once thought possible.
