An ellipsis is defined as "the deliberate omission of a word or words from a sentence." What words come to mind when you see the three dots in this time of longing for a global pandemic to be behind us once and for all? What do the dots represent for you in this season of prolonged waiting? For what are you truly waiting? What preparations do you make while you wait?
While many of us are busy preparing for Christmas, Advent beckons us to stop and prepare for something far more significant, a birth that changed and continues to change the entire world. This week's lessons offer an immediate invitation to get ready. Have we accepted the invitation? Or are we Still...Preparing?
