A Faith Worth Living || Shaped: Learning to Read Again

Sunday, May 18, 2025 || 11:00am

Rev. Dr. Donna Claycomb Sokol || Pastor

Acts 11:1-18

Methodists believe faith is revealed in scripture, illumined by tradition, vivified through personal experience, and confirmed by reason. This way of reading scripture or doing theology, known as the Wesleyan Quadrilateral, is what many people would say is one of the best parts of Methodism.

Join us this morning as our series, "A Faith Worth Living: What We Believe as United Methodists and Why" continues with a powerful story about how Peter was led to change his mind after an encounter with God and how, we, too, might employ scripture, tradition, reason, and experience when thinking theologically.
