What does it mean to be saved?
Who can be saved?
How do I know I am saved?
John Wesley, the founder of Methodism, wrestled with many of these questions until he found his heart strangely warmed at a society meeting on Aldersgate Street in London in May of 1738 and became convinced that he, too, had been cleansed of his sin and saved from the law of sin and death. How might we be convinced of the same and lean into the gift of salvation?
Join us this week as our series, "A Faith Worth Living: What We Believe as United Methodists and Why" continues with an exploration of the concept of salvation and what it means to be made whole.
