Matthew 6:25-33

Do you recall standing near the edge of a swimming pool as a child, wanting to jump in but uncertain and afraid to make the leap? Perhaps in that moment, a trusted adult reached their hands up toward you from the water while saying, "I’m ready to catch you. I've got you. You can jump in." In that moment, did you allow your fear to keep you standing on the concrete side of the pool? Or did you leap into the arms of someone who loves you, believing they would keep you safe?

How might we build such a community—one that embodies an understanding of how Jesus walks with us and longs to provide for us, and how this provision often comes from how people walk with and show up for one another? What would it look like for us to be an embodied example of why people do not have to worry as we live into God's abundance, refusing to allow the myth of scarcity to rob our peace?

Join us on Sunday as we explore these questions before pondering how we might dive into faith with open hearts, ready to let go of our worries and step into the peace that comes from trusting in the One who holds us, today and always.
