How does one keep the faith during seasons of longing, heartache, and humiliation?
How do we summon the trust to believe that God hears our prayers, even when pain prevents us from speaking?
How can we rest in the promises of God despite what is happening within or around us?
These are some of the many questions we will ponder on Sunday as we read the story of Hannah, a barren woman who refuses to accept what appears to be God's will for her life. Please make plans to join us as we allow her story to remind us that, even in the midst of personal suffering and injustice, God hears our cries and remains faithful to God's promises, often in ways that surpass our expectations.
