Exodus 12:1-14

The establishment of the Passover festival found in Exodus marks for the Hebrews in Egypt and for all the generations of God's people who follow the creation of a new life, a new beginning rooted in liberation and freedom for the ENTIRE community. And yet, this new way of living is founded alongside violence and death, bringing to mind Shawn Ginwright's question from his book, The Four Pivots: Reimagining Justice, Reimagining Ourselves: "How do I have to be as a human being for someone else to be free?"

Join us this week as we explore the Hebrew people's liberative new beginning and ponder the ways that we must exist within this difficult scripture for the liberation of others today.
