Our journey with the Israelites continues on this Sunday as the whole congregation faces another challenge, cries out to God in their distress, and has their needs met. The location of the miracle is renamed Massah and Meribah "because the Israelites quarreled and tested the Lord, saying, 'Is the Lord among us or not?'" How often do we want to ask a similar question? How do we know God is with us?
This Sunday is also World Communion Sunday and a specially themed BLUEGRASS WORSHIP. Please join us for an all "mountain music" singing experience from the choir, guest artists, and instrumentalists sharing their talents in a celebration of traditional faith expressions from the Appalachian mountains.
