“On Christ the solid rock I stand, all other ground is sinking sand; all other ground is sinking sand.” The words of the familiar hymn have taken new meaning in 2020 as different aspects of our lives have been put on hold, turned upside-down, or lost all together. It can be difficult to maintain hope, let alone faith, in this season of multiple pandemics. How do we not only discover or maintain our footing, but deepen our relationship with Jesus when everything around us is changing? What paths lead us to the solid rock?
