Acts 9:36-43

"We like to be moved. We like to feel connected to what it means to be human, to be reminded of our inextricable connection to one another."

-Brené Brown, Atlas of the Heart

Pain is inevitable in our lives, and it may take us to a place of anguish, hopelessness, despair, sadness, and grief. While these emotions are a part of the human experience, they are not something we wish to experience for a long period of time. We cannot romanticize these things, and yet still, if we allow ourselves to be in touch in a healthy way, we may come to appreciate the large network of humanity that is connected through such experiences. Where will we go when we are hurting? And how may we allow God to be a part of the process?

Join us this morning as our series, "Oh the Place We Go!" continues with Places We Go When We Are Hurting.
