Faith-Full Economics || Mind the Gap
In his Second Inaugural Address Franklin D. Roosevelt stated that:
"The test of our progress is not whether we add more to the abundance of those who have much; it is whether we provide enough for those who have too little.”
In a world where the gap between the richest of the rich and poorest of the poor seems to be ever widening, how do the teachings of Jesus compel us to see money as the root of all evil, to nurture contentment, and seek to be generous while we still have the chance? What should we do if we find ourselves being counted among the wealthy?
Join us this morning as we we conclude our Faith-Full Economics worship series seeking to "Mind the Gap", wrestle with these tough questions, and begin to imagine how to be a part of the in-breaking of a more equitable community.
