What are you afraid of when you choose to actively not see someone in your midst?
In this week's Gospel lesson, John the Baptist issues an invitation to behold Jesus who takes away the sin of the world. What might happen if we stopped and imagined gawking at Jesus? And then sought to do the same with every person around us? Might our beholding become a force of liberation?
