MVP is delighted to welcome special guest preacher Rev. Alan Storey to worship this morning, Sunday, November 6.
Rev. Alan Storey serves as an ordained minister of the Methodist Church of Southern Africa at Central Methodist Mission in Cape Town, South Africa. Rev. Storey specializes in facilitating spaces designed to expose entrenched dynamics of power, privilege and prejudice meant to facilitate the healing of the divisions that still divide us. Alan has been leading our congregation through a Manna and Mercy retreat all weekend long which help MVPers to take a fresh look at scripture through the interpretive lens of Jesus’ life, death, and resurrection and God’s overall call for each one of us to partner with God in mending this fractured world.
