What role does faith play in your life? What has faith allowed you to do? How has the faith of others impacted you? Who are the people, the stories, the legacies that give you courage to endure?
Our series, “Monumental Faith,” continues this week with the naming of additional ancestors in the faith, people who defied the odds and triumphed over adversity. We’ll examine some of their stories and ponder the witness of President Abraham Lincoln and Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. after visiting the Lincoln Memorial the day before. We will then imagine how we might be called to seek the fulfillment of our deepest hopes for humanity—by and through our faith and the faith of others.
