This week's Gospel lesson takes us to the banks of the River Jordan once more where we witness Jesus being baptized by John and hear the voice from heaven call him beloved. What would it take for us to imagine God saying these words to us, "You are my beloved!"? Will you walk the path of knowing you are beloved as 2021 begins? Please have a small bit of water near you on Sunday as we remember and give thanks for our baptism.
