Job 1:1, 2:1-10

We want to believe we live in a world where people get what they deserve, where we can explain the reason for why everything happens. But such a world does not exist, and life is not always fair. Where is God when the innocent suffer? How do we continue to have faith amid unjust suffering? What do we do with God’s terrible silence? Join us this October as we journey through one of the most challenging books of the Bible and ponder how our faith might be deepened in asking the hard questions—even if answers never come. Our series begins with an introduction to Job and his friends as we ponder together how the question “Why?” may be useless when it comes to our faith.
