The Truth is Marching On: Lessons from the Life of John Lewis and the Freedom Riders || Rules for the New Life

Sunday, August 8, 2021

Rev. Dr. Donna Claycomb Sokol || Pastor

Ephesians 4:25-5:2

We grow accustomed to following rules at an early age: don't chew with your mouth full, always tell the truth, brush your teeth, get out of the pool when the lifeguards blow a whistle. The rules change as we get older: buckle your seatbelt, stop at a red light, stand to the right of the escalator and walk to the left. But what are the rules that guide a life centered on Christ? Join us on Sunday as we examine a list provided by Paul and ponder together what it means to imitate God, especially when aspects of life are unfair and people can be downright mean.
