We all carry questions—uncertainties that stir our minds late at night, linger in quiet moments, or surface when life is challenging. We regularly ruminate about success, worry, purpose, provision, faithfulness, and how God is at work in our lives and the world around us. In our sermon series, I Was Just Wondering…, we are exploring questions of faith and life as we seek to discover how the way of Jesus offers more than just answers—but new possibilities for living life fully and abundantly.
Our series continues this week with Jesus building upon the parable in which Jesus called a rich man a fool for wanting to build a bigger barn to store his grain instead of sharing it with others by asking the disciples not to worry about what they are to eat or drink but to seek God's kingdom. What if our seeking God's kingdom could lead to every person being able to live without the anxiety of becoming hungry or naked? Do we trust God—and our community—enough to make this vision a reality?
