We all have a money story—whether we recognize it or not. Maybe it’s the fear of never having enough, or the struggle to manage more than we know how to handle. Perhaps it’s layered with guilt and shame over debt or wasted money. The Bible is full of wisdom on money and possessions, and Jesus spoke about money more than any other topic, even faith and prayer. Our new worship series, “Our Money Story” is designed to help us embrace our money story as a spiritual story—one that can be liberating, inviting, and even transformative.

Our series begins this week with a familiar story of God providing manna in the wilderness with specific instructions to take enough for each day. What is enough? How do you discern how much you need? Are you able to faithfully name when you have too much or too little?

Please make plans to join us as we ponder these questions and begin to uncover how our money stories are spiritual stories—opportunities for God to rewrite the narrative.
