On Sunday, December 28, our 11:00am worship will look a little different than usual. Instead of gathering in the sanctuary, we’ll gather around tables in the fellowship hall for an interactive, in-person-only service (no livestream this week). You are invited to bring muffins, donuts, a casserole, or fruit to share, as breakfast will be shared midway through worship. Together we will reflect on Matthew’s telling of the Christmas story—the joy of Christ’s coming held alongside the hard truths of a broken world—and engage in honest, justice-oriented conversation as we eat. This service will invite us to linger in Christmas joy while also asking how fear can become fuel for justice as we look toward the year ahead. Come hungry—for food, for fellowship, and for God’s presence and power. Please contact Pastor Donna if you are willing to bring a dish to share.
