Asbury UMC has partnered with the Downtown DC BID to ensure that people experiencing homelessness in our neighborhood have food and other necessary items seven days a week. Showers and other services are currently provided Monday to Friday, but there is an ongoing gap on Sundays. Mount Vernon Place is partnering with Asbury to provide food and other necessities on a quarterly basis.

Please join MVPers as we prepare and serve breakfast to our neighbors on Sunday, December 31. Food preparation will begin at MVP at 7:40am and will be taken over to Asbury to be served 8:40-11:00am. Please contact Minister Lee for more information or to sign up to serve.
