MVP Shower Ministry volunteers and other interested members of the congregation are invited to save the date for a free First Aid and CPR Demonstration Class at Mount Vernon Place UMC on Saturday, June 13, from 10:00am to 12:00pm. In response to requests from Shower Ministry volunteers for additional training, this class will offer demonstrations on basic first aid, Stop the Bleed, and hands-only CPR, taught by DC Fire and EMS. Please note that this course does not provide official CPR or first aid certification, but is meant to equip MVPers for emergency situations.
