If so, you are invited to participate in the next gathering of Beyond the Book on Thursday, March 26 from 6:30 to 7:30pm at Teaism in Penn Quarter (400 8th Street NW). The March conversation will be focused on The End of the Affair by Graham Greene, a novel following the divergent post-war lives of Sarah and Maurice after their adulterous relationship during WWII. Maurice discovers a wedge being driven between them as Sarah’s growing devotion to God bristles against his unwavering love for her.  Read the book in advance and come purchase a cup of hot tea before settling in for thoughtful conversation and good company.
